Our History
Created in 1999 by Laëtitia Morlat, Domaine de Vieux-Mareuil reflects its founder’s return to her roots.
After traveling around the world, she chose to promote her native Périgord region by opening five iconic residences,
each telling the story and identity of the region.
After traveling around the world, Laetitia chose to return to her native land, the Périgord Vert, to create a place that reflects who she is: sincere, lively, and deeply rooted. Over the years, the estate has grown around five residences, each bearing a symbol:
– Château de Chanet, love
– Château de Bagatelle, escape
– Domaine de Lavy, madness
– Villa de la Roussie, harmony
– Aile de la Commanderie, roots
All have been restored using traditional materials and the expertise of the Compagnons, with respect for the surroundings. The history remains visible, and the comfort contemporary. Domaine de Vieux-Mareuil is a place to live before it is a destination. People come here to get together, celebrate, work differently, or simply take their time. Domaine de Vieux Mareuil embodies a vision of peaceful luxury: respect for nature, tradition, authenticity, and attention to hospitality.
